week 1- Body Fat Buy In Complete

After week 1 of the body fat challenge I feel pretty good about my progress, although i didnt win last weeks challenge I was happy to learn that I had lost 2 lbs, and a full inch around my waist.  The progress that I have made is a bit more rewarding then the money, and I can’t wait to step up my game this week and hopfully beat my own results from last week.  The challenge also is helping me get me back on track on attending bootcamp more regularly.  With so much going on with my school schedule, and work being all over the place unfortunatly my fitness schedule has taken the down fall.  Today’s session went well though, it was a new rotation of excercises today.  I found them to be simple yet challenging at the same time, testing a little more of my stamina and consistancy.  I already feel a little bit of the soreness, but i’m sure it will work its self out pretty quickly, before fridays session!

Going into this weeks sessions didnt work out quite as well as I could have hoped.

I started this week off house sitting a friends cat, an even though I was up, awake and ready for bootcamp, this little kitten had a whole different kind of work out for me.

Instead of warm up stretches and plank ups, I was running around the house chasing a Siamese cat around with its medicine.  Bootcamp would have been better then dealing with this situation!

However the rest of the week was a bit easier to get back into the swing of things.  This weeks drills were a little more familiar to me, similar to drills I remember doing during basketball. But more of a test of my own strength, challenging my own endurance, and balance.

I like how these drills make me work against myself, I find my own competitivness coming out in between reps. wanting to get faster, and increase my own strengths.  I hope I can continue to get into more routines like this one!

Carolyn’s 1st Week of Boot Camp AZ: Can Exercise Really be Enjoyable??

Full Body Fat Burning Workout Tempe AZI started my first week of Bootcamp AZ this week with Troy Anderson, and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.

During my first week I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect from bootcamp.

At first I was a little weary of the 5:30 am session, but after I arrived at bootcamp and started into the morning warm ups I felt better already!

I think the warm ups are my favorite part of bootcamp so far, everyone does warm ups together, but you move at your own pace.

I liked that even though I was working out with a group that Troy was able to still work with me one on one and help me find to the proper form to warm up correctly.  I am definitley looking forward to my next session!
