It doesn’t really matter if you have been sitting around as a lump on a log or an athlete coming in on off-season.

The topic of ‘shin splints’ invariably pops up, while shin splints is not technical term it typically tends to be an oversue of muscles in the lower leg because weakness and or poor technique. Although in some extreme instances it can be a structural issue in which case you need to visit your doctor, especially if the pain/irritation persists.

‘Shin Splints’ are often associated with running and/or jogging, we don’t typcially do much of this at the Total Body Burn Arizona Boot Camp AZ, but we do some hill runs and ocassionally stretch it out to anything between a 200-600 meter consecutive run.
